CAROL FIELDS DANCE PROJECTS (CFDP)

Founder of viz-art-dance (formally known as The Carol Fields Dance Projects (CFDP)), a performing and production non-profit company. CFDP provides performance venues for emerging local artists as well as more established artists from Europe, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. CFDP has organized and produced non-profit dance venues throughout Santa Cruz, San Jose and the San Francisco bay area and is responsible for all aspects of multiple night festival performances. Festivals have been featured in publications; Good Times, Santa Cruz Sentinel and Metro Santa Cruz as well as radio. Samples of festivals and productions include:

A CFDP production in conjunction with the Santa Cruz Dance Gallery La Que Sable Art Foundation and the Santa Cruz Dance Gallery. Grants from the CA Art Council and the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz County. Guest Artist include: Nancy Colahan (Baryshnikov’s White Oaks Projects), Maris Basile and Hsiang-Hsui Lin from Limon West, Frey Faust from Axis (Germany), Anne Rosenthal (Marin), Damon L. White (ODC), VogtART Dance Co. ( San Jose) and local artist.

Balanced P&L with categorization of all suspended items from FY2007 till FY2011 and completed FY2010/2011 annual reports, FY2010 tax filings. Developed and executed 20+ contracts for contractors, dancers, work exchanged, rental agreements and insurance. Managed over 20 events averaging $1K gross profit/events in 6 months. Enhanced and strengthen mission statements resulting in 3 grant awards. Strategic marketing task completed included website management, loans, PR, graphics, flyers/posters, newsletters, Google search, and new letters.
