Compact Contemporary Master Bathroom
This compact Master Bathroom features many space saving ideas to create a spacious underwater theme. Shelves are made from recycle wood and can be purchased from Kevin Anderson, SilicateStudio on Etsy. com. Space saving features include: Cut away shelves, wall mounted vanity, wall mounted toilet and barn door entry.
Ann Sack tile in matte accented with glossy mosaic to give the shower an underwater waterfall feel. Large Ann Sack "sand" themed floor tile help enlarge the room.
Duel shower heads and trench drain add to the extra's as well as a hair dryer holder and unique three in one wall hooks.
The picture was purchased from Small Hope Bay Lodge in Andros Island in the Bahamas. All inclusive dive, fishing, kayak resort. Island is loaded with beautiful inland and ocean blue holes. SmallHope.com

Contemporary Landscaping for (vegi) Food Lovers
This yard is loaded with features to transistion this 1940 house to an updated contemporary look and feel. A secret front orchard and yard is protected from the hungary deer with horizontal redwood fence. The frontyard has many beautiful fixtures: copper rain chain allowing water to pour into a rock garden surrounded by black mondo ,pink crystal grass and ordamental thyme ground covering. The large pieces of gray slate pathway lit by square low voltage LED guides your guest to a cobblestone and slate porch. A scuba bell and succulents hang from the porch's ceiling and from the side of the walls accented by DWR house numbers and a vibrant blue door bell button.
Walk around the to the side and enter into a raised bed berry garden using an old recycle ladder as a trellis. Strawberries line the side and a large metal archway/redwood trellis support the abundant kiwi vines.
The multi purpose backyard is designed in sections a lower yard, curving redwood deck and upper pathway leading to a terrace vegitable planter box, arching California Gold path, tree house and a landing for sipping wine while sitting high on the side of the hill. Long horizontal slate pieces with small 1/4" pebbles enlongate the lower yard while giving it a Sunset magazine look. Concrete planter boxes with redwood provide additional seating and planting. The hot tub is sectioned off from with redwood seating on one side and a planter box and trellis up against a large shed on the other side.
The entire yard is watered using low drip irrigation, low voltage lights and maximizes the use of native plants. Vegitables and fruits are scattered throughout the yard for year around home ground gardening.

Contemporary Master Bathroom
for Growing Teenagers
Master bathroom doubles as teenagers bathroom. This light and airy bathroom has a subtle underwater theme using Ann Sack glass tiles matte penny mosaic and 12" x 6" gloss tile and Heath Ceramic overstock tile on the floor to provide a sand like bottom. Lots of extras including plenty of towel/robe hooks, towel bars, teak floor mat and vanity, with a gray granite countertop. Extra faucet with hose and floor drain aids in clean-up jobs. The fiberglass tub was recycled to give a transitional look for this contemporary underwater bathroom theme. Hand held shower head on sliding rail makes for easy clean-up in bathroom and height adjustment for growing teenagers.

Guest Bathroom
Small bathroom remodel recycling pedestal sink for a bridge between old and new. Heath Ceramics overstock used through out in three tones. Glass shelves, shower doors and medicine cabinet door adds to the open air feeling. Includes a special feature for cat owners, a pass through china cabinet with bottom level sealed from china to create a two way cat litter box area with buil- in fan. No smell and easy to clean.
This bathroom is loaded with artistic extras - cut away medicine cabinets, lit coves, bubble light, recycle floating wood shelves, teak floor mat and more.
